1. How do you throw away a symbol? Trash can or smth?
2. To just cease thinking about it, I am highly skeptical if the effects will be as powerful as mindfulness and holding onto the belief constantly.
Seeing effects of a sigil after throwing it away, lets get an analogy going on. Imagine a pond. This is the field of reality. Now imagine you manifesting as like dropping a stone into the water. It ripples, and will effect other ripples in the pond. But when you forget about what you desire, what happens is your initial manifestation, which was already dropped into the pond, is doing its ripple thing. Unlike standard thaumaturgy, in which one is constantly mindful of what they desire to manifest, which is like taking the stone, dropping it, and then getting another, and dropping over and over again.
This is why I believe mindful manifestation is efficient enough. This form of thaumaturgy IMO is more superior therefore.
Other parts where you speak on why symbols are handy, thats a view I never heard of before. Makes sense now. Symbols dont do shit, youre saying. Rather, youre saying symbols function as devices of clarity, because you clearly define what you wish to manifest.
>You saying you can't just do something short term makes alot of sense honestly. I struggled to find a way to do this with smaller activities like studying without a creeping obsession looming over me during the next day.The point i was tryna make earlier was that just manifesting for a bit, and then forgetting about it completely after "youre done," I think is unnecessary and will only hinder you. I believe it is the opposite. Keep the mindfulness. Now you may see effects, and be like "look, it works doe!" Indeed it does, but the truth is that is the work of the initial manifestation. Youre just dropping one stone into the pond. Now imagine if you manifest for HOURS a day! Thats wizard right there. That is the method I believe is correct.
