Today it was announced that the founder, songwriter, and lead singer of the American post-grunge rock band 3 Doors Down has died from stage four kidney cancer.

Brad Arnold publicly revealed in May 2025 that he was diagnosed with Stage 4 clear cell renal cell carcinoma (a form of kidney cancer) that had metastasized to his lung, which led to the cancellation of the band's summer tour that year.

Yuri "Kuz" Kuznetsov, founder of the Kolyma Network and owner of soyjak.party between July 2022 and May 2023, was fatally wounded by an FPV drone in eastern Ukraine while fighting for Russia.
