I watched girls last tour over a year ago and it is still my favourite piece of fiction. Despite the fact I generally don't like anime.
I feel like the anime is better than the manga, I recommend watching the anime before reading the manga. There is not much difference in plot/storyline between the 2, except for the fact the manga shows a bit more at the end than the anime. I also like the artstyle.
