should be unrelated to ur install probably some ram stuff other than that u can just go ahead and wipe the partition u were installing on

Chud Tue 20 Oct 2026 13:12:51 No.42926 Report

Just enter your BIOS/UEFI and boot from your live USB again.

Chud Tue 20 Oct 2026 19:29:18 No.42970 Report

windows is fine its on another drive/partition. Linux install is probably fine if your ram isnt cleared so just boot back into the liveusb and go back to the install. dont be like me though and kill your power mid update, i corrupted my arch kernel doing that preventing me from using it so i had to reinstall the kernel which is a lot more confusing than it sounds.

dont worry about it man

I've heard a few different times that you should have only a minimal amount of browser extensions running because websites can fingerprint you based off of it, but can't I just fake a user agent that says I have no extensions?

If you want to not be fingerprinted, install windows 11 in a VM and browse the internet from chrome in 1080p resolution without any extensions. You can block ads with pihole or something like that.

just use the Libredirect extension and use a frontend for every single website and resistfingerprinting in about:config

and only use mullvad vpn or airvpn on your main browser

>C is a gemmy level of abstraction to understand computing at.
TRVKE
C is good to learn because it is very close to actual asm.

C is very simple and powerful and if you learn it then learning everything else will be easier because most languages use C like syntax and are basically the same thing but with extra abstractions.

The issue with learning something like Python is you understand computers as a bunch of magic containers. When you get good at C you can read low level code (C, C++, Rust, etc) and be able to understand basically exactly what your hardware is doing at any given code.

Also if you learn C you'll be able pick up most C++ pretty quickly and easily.

>arch wiki, and the gentoo wiki are the places I would recommend people go for that kind of thing. And specifically for installing gentoo their handbook is about as good as it gets in my opinion. You just follow through the whole thing, and you're guaranteed to have a working install.

please do not use arch linux especially as your first OS if you want to learn about linux. for personal use i use fedora but for a start id recommend literally any other distro

TSMT o algo

For gaining computer literacy I would stray away from bullshit distros like arch and I'd personally recommend playing around with debian on a VM. I started with network engineering then pivoted to cybersecurity so I didn't pay as much attention to most compsci/dev things like reading into asm docs but I started with electrical engineering and slowly moved up through the OSI model. I use linux as a daily driver but I'm a pretty casual enduser im not a dev or anything, what helped me learn the most was just immersion I started off learning like basic stuff like bash linux filesystem like systemmd o algx asi and like what GNU is just like introductory stuff then about like bios/firmware (i use a chromebook with custom firmware so i had to) then i got into cybersecurity so i learned python for scripting etc so as i used the computer more i had more issues that required troubleshooting or solutions, solving the problems made me learn more about what i was using i guess. I wouldnt even say read docs for everything because thats not how people learn but if you want to be better at compsci then youtube is your friend

What harness do you use? Are you reverse engineering or are you working with source code. Be specific techswa

Chud Tue 20 Oct 2026 06:15:16 No.42907 Report

Leaving a model in a "don't stop until you solve the problem" state is how you rape your token budget because your context will be constantly full and stopping to compact. If you do this you need a very carefully set up multi agent harness

i'm trying to exploit an old ffmpeg version on a remote server, i know the rough version (4.x) but not the exact build configuration, and aslr is on making it more difficult

Thoughts on Panasonic Let's note?
These japtops are built like they're from the 2000s, with removable batteries, long key travel, 3:2 panels, VGA and Ethernet ports and sometimes DVD drives (despite being sub-1kg). They can also charge over USB-C.
However the RAM is soldered.
