I have 2 old HDD's, one is from 2013 and the other is from 2007. They both make clicking noises when plugged in, the older one is louder and ~3x faster but makes the usual whirring noise as well, while the newer one is barely audible and clicks once per second, but no whirring sound. lsblk didnt list the second one (i couldnt see the first because i yanked the cable out the second i heard the clicks like a coward), these are both windows laptop HDD's, 2.5", older one is 200GB and the newer is 750GB, How can i rescue the data inside? All help is appreciated. Both use a SATA power and a SATA data cord, one plugged into DC and the other into my main (debian) laptop. Posting here since I'm about to sleep and it would get slid off in /g/ or /soy/. Ask any questions you want, I'll answer them either ~12 hours later or now.
