why is manga so expensive in the west? it's more than an hour's wage to buy one manga. there's no way it costs this much in japan. is it really that expensive to ship it from nippon and re-letter the panels? do they print it on higher quality paper because westoids can be "collectors" so basically hoarders who care about page quality and a strong cover and all that crap? i like reading on paper but i can't bring myself to spend so much of the money i worked for on manga when it's like this
