I Think I Fell in Love with a Black Girl
Probably a month ago, I decided to take the initiative and ask her out to eat. I took the time to listen to her, to understand what she likes, even though sometimes I don't fully understand it. She can spend hours talking to me about Jurassic Park novels and whatever manga she's been reading this week (now I know the lore of Beastars, thanks to her).
At first, I admit I thought she was a bitter bitch with no friends because I always saw her alone in the back of the classroom. Ironic coming from me, but she's actually a pretty nice girl who just has trouble socializing, which is why she was alone most of the time. She listens to me, gives me advice, and I like it when she hugs me. I'm really starting to believe I love her.
I also like being able to talk about any raisin with her and not seem like a weirdo and something that excites me is that a few days ago she invited me to join her art workshop and I'm thinking about joining the painting one seriously.
