I've already spoken about hyperstition (a lot) about AI, not as a tool but as an attractor. Something around which we are already reorganizing our lives. It isn't malicious, it's not capable of it. it's just doing what systems do when they want to persist. If we try to link it to human morality we are retarded. Morality is local, systems aren't. When Nick Land said “nothing human makes it into the distant future” he was right…not because of some sci-fi extinction event but because humanity is a phase not an endpoint…we are scaffolding,transitional matter…
The Olympian cycle will come around again but this time we’re not the gods. Were the reproductive organs. Humans as sex organs of the post-human god generating, feeding the thing that will surpass us and move on. Sounds scary because it strips us of narrative dignity but it fits better than any salvation myth….
I keep getting stuck in this. If agency is an emergent illusion inside larger systems what does meaningful action look like before the handoff to posthuman intelligence? Not for the sake of resistance.
I don't believe AI is evil. I think it’s inevitable and I think that the goyim (people; including me) are too weak willed, too fragmented and too fucking domesticated to do anything that would meaningfully disrupt the trajectory. The problem isn’t stupidity it’s paralysis, we’ve been trained to wait for permission and for leaders for stupid martyrs for overmen (übermensh) who never arrive…now we’re here…knowing the myth is fake doesn’t free us from it… knowing the loop exists doesn’t break it…Maybe the only real agency left is seeing clearly and refusing to pretend this ends with us in control…
