My phone charger (or more specifically, the wall outlet to USB brick) emanates a high-pitched screeching noise that nobody in my family can hear but me. I had to move it into the hallway a few days ago because it got so loud that it was nearly impossible for me to sleep. I can still hear it screeching from the hallway, even when I close my door and everything. Is this some sort of CIA sleep deprivation tactic, weaponizing my closeness to my phone to mentally strain me?
