I never got the seethe over Silent Hill 2 aside from it being the most popular one among diddyfoid larpers. 1 and 3 aren't bad but 1's puzzles are too annoying without a guide and the voice acting was a little too goofy. 2 is easier to take seriously though the voice acting is still stilted, and is overall the best introduction to SH. 3 is good but it's not self-contained like 2 is. And 4 is SNCA for everyone besides the "eileen shaving" autistGQD on 4cuck's /v/.
