Vcs is better on psp tho as in ps2 it's full of bugs.
The air ambulance mission is bugged and if the chopper explodes you won't respawn at the hospital, just remain there. The vigilante mission also broke at least for me, having beaten level 13 the mission didn't end, it just remained with the interface and i had to cancel it myself and lose all the progress. Domo Arigato Domestoboto has a very curious glitch in which if when crossing a door with the domestobot you get called, the domestobot will fall outside of the map, explode, and fail you the mission.

Oh also; many of the Gundam games on the system are pure gold too.
Zeonic Front in particular is great.
Armored Trooper Votoms, Steambot Chronicles, and pretty much all the Armored Core games are good as well. Also, not exactly a typical Mecha game, but Metal Saga is a great RPG.

Choro Q is a gem
Both Smuggler's Run games are good
Serious Sam: The Next Encounter is criminally underrated
Also, Shadow Hearts series. (Don't forget to play Koudelka from PS1, since it's the first game in the series.)
Darkwatch with KB+M patch/mouse injection on PCSX2, but yeah fine to play on the original hardware as well.

I wasn’t a big fan of either, but I feel like the worst thing you could say about 3, other than all the talking, was that half of the game mechanics were redundant because it’s so easy
