But I hope they improve the formula for 8. Like 7 was fun and the set pieces were awesome but game play wise I'd take wingman all day. The thing I'd want the most would be post stall maneuvers being actually useful/practical, in a system similar to project wingman's (a button/ simple combination rather than having to slowdown to even get to try em), and make the allies more useful rather than just an accesory/cosmetic thing.

But I also hope they improve like the 'normal' missions. At least to me some missions didn't feel all that memorable, not that everything needs to be a hype fight, but like some of the later 'destroy targets' missions felt more like bloat rather than a cool ahh flight simulator mission [at least I remember finding the one where you go give air support to the tomboy and the princess (if I recall correctly) pretty boring] meanwhile stuff like the bunker buster mission in ac7 or the capture of the eminent domain where pretty fun while being a 'destroy targets' mission; the whole 'zomg yeah objectives updated and they're actually firing nukes GO INTERCEPT THEM NOOOOOOOW' made em cool, and other missions with gimmicks/twists also where fun.
<reddit spaceAnother thing I didn't really like the boss fights in ac6 bc like to me they felt more like a waiting sim/script fight instead of a true fight. I hope they also are more like pw's which felt more like boss fights.
<another spaceAnd also I hope they made your team more interesting. all the characters/team mates of ac7 pretty much died and at first I didn't like cunt but he kinda grew into me with the time but yeah the rest of the guys I liked died.
