Libreboot and Canoeboot are malware

No.40518 View View Original Report
Libreboot has built images with nonfree binary blobs since November of 2022. Examples include:
>The Intel ME (ran through me_cleaner)
>CPU Microcode
>Intel MRC and FSP
>EC firmware
>VGA option ROMs
>Thunderbolt firmware
i.e, everything you would want a free BIOS/UEFI to remove. Canoeboot is supposed to be what Libreboot was before the rugpull, as
>a vocal minority of users still demanded such a project exist as the old Libreboot did
THOUGH it's arguably worse. On boards that still need an ME to function, it doesn't run me_cleaner at all. It only flips the HAP bit, which is a register added by intel which only promises to disable the ME after bring-up.
Technical concerns aside, the developer is also a proud tranny pedophile. Xhe has a personal website if you'd like to see what makes xer axewound leak
https://vimuser.org/ (rare vimDIETY fail)
Linked there is also a website with a large amount of information regarding trooning out, including (((an article encouraging children to buy puberty blockers online and how to do it)))
https://trans.chat/children.html
>But how else should I build my BIOS/UEFI
Coreboot already has it's own system that gives you much more control and upstream support. It's not a preconfigured solution and requires what some call tinkertrannying, but you WILL fork Canoeboot if this bothers you.
