I want to set up a server on a laptop to transfer photos from an iphone. How do I do that?

Cutting grass with scissors ahh question.
Just use send anywhere or you feel fancy, use SSH, you don't need to setup a whole ass server for a single transfer.

just use a lightning cable and plug into your pc for photos. goypple has a nigger file system but it allows you to access the dcim folder where all your downloaded porn is.

Do this don't bother with setting up a server if you don't plan on connecting to it from 5 billion different devices

Obviously op wants to use it across different networks, just use tailscale with whatever file sharing app works with a itoddler phone and use debian with a ssh server and standard system utilities only install and set up whatever file sharing method u chose on there too
