i own essentially the highest end CRT ever made and im ranked top 0.03% in competitive fps

basically they used to be worth the hype but now they're pretty shit.

you can get a 480hz or faster lcd now with decent motion clarity that just shits on a crt

the real problem is when you consider the frame transmission delay of

>120hz is 8.334ms
>240hz is 4.112ms
etc

most CRTs have a vertical refresh limit of around 85 hz to 160 hz except for iiyama syncmasters
