That is a real problem with those languages. If they were actually easy to work with most other programming languages would not exist. Any sane person will choose the option that eliminates hard to spot memory and race condition errors. That's why for a long time massive networked enterprise software has still relies on COBOL and Java because at certain point C++ codebases become unmanageable. Let that sink in: COBOL is preferable to C++ in places where reliability and predictability are absolute musts.
