We're entering the era of PEAK WINDOWS and as more users migrate towards mobile devices, the situation for those of us on Desktop computers will gradually deteriorate. In the mean time, let's appreciate how lucky we are to have Microsoft.

>Best Desktop OS: Windows 11 - Runs everything, all hardware supports it, has WSL2 if you need Linux.
>Best Office Suite: Microsoft 365 - Works locally, on mobile, online
>Best Notes: OneNote - Bundled with above, works great with a stylus too, even on iPads!
>Best Cloud Storage: OneDrive
>Best AI: Copilot
>Best Browser: Edge
>Best Editor: VS Code or Visual Studio depending on your needs
>Best Shell: Powershell (learn it, and you'll never want bash again)
>Best General purpose language: C# (.NET)
>Best Scripting language: Typescript
>Best Functional language: F#
>Best C++23 Support: MSVC… ahh it's GCC if we're honest, but we have MSYS2.

As you can see, things are pretty comfy on Windows 11, and hopefully Windows 12 will fix the few remaining UI inconsistencies. And I didn't even mention Azure!
