PewDiePie did not announce that he “transgendered” his son. The footage showed his three-year-old son wearing/trying on dresses, and Felix said he himself wore a dress at two years old. There’s no evidence in the reporting that Björn was declared transgender, transitioned, or that Felix was trying to make him transgender.
And the claim that Felix “ran away” and stopped making videos because of criticism is especially misleading. He announced the end of the family vlogs months before this controversy, specifically because Björn was getting older and Felix wanted him to have privacy and eventually decide for himself whether he wanted to appear online. Felix also explicitly said when the family vlogs ended that he would continue making videos.
You can disagree with letting a toddler wear a dress if you want, but that’s a disagreement about parenting—not evidence that a child has been “transgendered.” And invoking “repenting and returning to Christ” is a religious judgment, not a factual description of what happened.
The actual facts are considerably less dramatic than the post makes them sound: a toddler wore a dress, people online argued about it, and his parents had already decided to stop family vlogging in order to give him more privacy.
