<reddit spacealso this ignores the reality that many European nations have either no colonial guilt against anyone besides other Europeans (the Swedes), or no colonial guilt at all, often themselves the victims of colonialism or similar oppression (the Irish, the Poles). it fails to mention, I assume deliberately, the way in which non-European powers have been just as guilty of imperialism (the Japanese), colonialism (the Arabs), slavery (modern-day Mauritania), or ethnic cleansing (the Iroquois)
