uhhh, the reports system is hosted on
https://reports.4chan.org, and you need to login twice to get in, which is a shitty design if you ask me.
the reports queue is like a 4chan catalog but it shows all the reported posts
once something is reported as "illegal content", it's unlocked for any member of the staff team to act on. illegal content gets sent to the top of the queue for all janitors and is highlighted in red.
We used to be on irc.rizon.net #janiteam but we moved to Discord because funnily enough as time went on less and less people knew how to use IRC.
4chan mod tools are the best i've ever used, you have 2 buttons on every post, [X] and [B] (but they're rendered as images), pressing B opens up a prompt where you start typing and it autofills into one of the default ban templates.
Submitting a ban request always deletes the post. You can also choose to just delete a post and not submit a ban request. You're given a lot of liberty in how you choose to handle your power as a janitor. Though if someone posts shit like "NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER" you're pretty much always supposed to ban request it for GR3 Quality of Posts
>>1138616I shouldn't say because then they'd know who I am. They make you "sign" a contract but it's all a bunch of bullshit. They won't spend the money to pursue you if you go rogue. It's meant to scare rogues more than anything. Even if you do go rogue it won't matter because you can't see IPs. They almost never promote people to mod. They probably won't ever have to promote more mods because the mods that are there now have been there for 7+ years.
>>1138618fake stuff. they used to make you upload your ID but they stopped that policy because people didn't want to give moot their ID.
