My phone is 6 years old and serves me basically perfectly, and if you had a high tier phone from like 2017 it should still be fine. 4 hours screen time total across all devices makes you an exception instead of the norm. I disagree with the anime thing, I think having a surface level interest in the generic tranime that trends on die 'tok would be a plus but if you are invested in it its still a massive negative.
