Both sides are accurate.
The first portrays young love, so either while you are in school, or as a young adult. The latter shows "love" later in life. It's when both sides are settling. The woman from being madly in love with good looking men to a man she doesnt love that much, but who provides stability. Because of this she doesnt actually respect him, will argue with him, wont try to look good for him. If she has a kid with him she might then get rid of him through divorce and still enjoy the financial stability without pretending to love him
For the man, he is settling down by lowering his standards to "whoever will accept me". Maybe for the first year or so he is happy. He finally got laid, he knows she isnt really what he was looking for but he thinks he can change her. But after a short while she will stop playing the act and will get bitchy. Then he ends up either divorced and paying child support, divorced without child support, leaving him still alone, or stuck basically waging away so she can live while not being appreciated at all.
