>>what do you want in a boyfriend or husband?
>I would like my husband to be strong both physically and mentally, and prepared to begin and support a family.
>>do women only date for financial reasons or do they actually look for someone they can love and be proud of?
>I think that most women would ideally like to have the latter, but finances are something too important to just ignore in order to find that person. On one hand, its not entirely their faults. A single income used to be enough for a couple with 2-3 children but shortly after the gender pay gap narrowed, prices rose and dual incomes became much more common. Now that women make the same amount of money, if not, more than some men, they have become more expectant of their partners because they are attracted to the power that a man holds. Its almost like they want to have their cake and eat it too, but I think that reduces the complexity of the issue at hand. Women intrinsically want to be able to rely on men, but because of todays circumstances, they simultaneously believe that they should advance their career as well. So my answer to the question is that typically, no, they do not. But, because of the relatively sudden shift in society, the problem seems much more prevalent.
>>will women ever be able to save face after Lindsay Clancy?
>Yes, I do think they will. Like many others on this board, I have become very cynical and have begun to subscribe to the belief that "nothing ever happens". This event will slowly fade into oblivion through all the other pointless noise just like how it did with CK or the Epstein Files. I do think more men are becoming jaded with modern women, but not on as grand of a scale as some people would have you believe. The majority of males I observe day to day still beg for female validation. For instance, today I was doing an project with several other people and the conversation went to fraternities, and then to the Cornell gangbang thing that women are leaking over right now. The only guy in my group completely believed it without a hint of doubt or suspicion. I really don't think there will be any repealing of the 19th anytime soon, and it will have to get a whole lot worse before it gets any better.
