Context: I barely know this girl and have been liking her months. We both are engineering students so we barely have time for anything but studying

What is the political implications of this? Is she trying to soft reject me? Is she genuinely not looking for anything but she is not totally closed to the idea of maybe letting the date (?) lead to somewhere?

I know she wouldn't've said this if I was a HTN, but I still want to have hope.
