Yeah, you can meet people who like the nerdy SNCA just like you, and sometimes they'll even be nice.

For many people with actual fulfilling lives, no. There is no point to being online beyond what the modern world basically requires you being online for. Then again, if you have to use the internet a lot for laboral reasons, there's a good chance you aren't one of these people.
