before becoming swarthodox i spent a long time watching youtube videos trying to derive the best theology and strongest authority to pick a church
then I realized there were way more learned people on all sides of the shitflinging so it would take me forever to learn enough to pick anything, on top of historical ambiguity
Then remembered "you will judge a tree by its fruit"
Protestant: completely uncertain and schismatic, each claiming "we have the TRVTH" like schizo channels. No, there can only be one. Inheriting and doubling Catholic autism.
Catholic: really long Marxistesque chains of logic where they overthink one essential doctrine amd then redefine their whole view of the world (i.e they started with redefing that suffering exists on Earth cuz Adam's descendants are all guilty by inheritance even though that's against Gods own law. Then claiming immaculate conception to explain that Jesus is not guilty too, and thereby other-ing Mary from the other saints. Then redefining baptism to be ridding of the ancestral sin rather than entering from the age of death into Christ.)
Orthodox: being okay with calling something a mystery instead of trying to bait revelation like a jew. And other unbothered behavior I cant remember right now.
So when guys ask me why I chose Orthodox, I tell them "aura farming"
