The IUCN has declared the gigapeguin from near threatened, to endangered and are now at risk of extinction. This is because of (((climate change)) causing the break-up of sea ice in Antarctica. It's projected that if this continues, the gigapeguin will lose halve of it's population by the 20Ϫ0s.
