I fully admit once upon a time I was a stupid kid that also liked 'magick metal', but that was a lifetime ago. We all have to move on and forward. Im not saying all of this to just shit talk your music tastes, living in the past and not growing is one of the worst things that can happen to someone, its artistic stagnation. Keep listening to them if thats what you like, I cant stop you. But for your own sake try and listen to something different and new.
If you actually like edelweiss for more than its meme qualities, you should look into older 70s/80s bands from the same genre, their are quite a few good ons from Italy and russia.
