The fact that Horsch was allowed to live a normal life and die of old age is symptomatic of everything wrong with the judeo-liberal world order we've been living in for the past century.
The guy went out of his way to act and look as creepy as possible and wrote a book where he's like "I murdered a couple of girls and then played with their dead bodies loool it's just fiction btw I didn't do any of that in real life promise promise :)". In a normal, just society (like an Ancient Greek city-state) the townfolk would sentence him to death just for that. A normal person would not write something like that, and would not go out of their way to act like that. Only a criminal or a potential criminal. We don't have to tolerate anti-social behavior. We don't have to wait until he actually commits a crime before we can punish him. We don't need people like him in our society, and that's enough justification to get rid of him. But not in the judeo-liberal world order, oh no. Innocent until proven guilty o algo. So he was allowed to live his life, die of old age, and then when people went through his stuff they found out that he did, in fact, murder a couple of girls and play with their dead bodies. Oopsie daisy!
