(C because it was made by CLAMP. the rest of the Blood series is HORSESHIT) is not for the weak. it's brutal whilst also stabbing in you in the heart figuratively. the movie that follows it falls off a ton and it's lowk mid, but if you're invested in the lore and curious, go ahead and look at it.
a dynamic that's a bit interesting for Blood C is the fact that it's an anime oriented around a female protag and her friends that's orchestrated by a prod crew comprised of mostly if not just all women. one criticism of it that i keep hearing of it online being that it "has too much filler" when it's just trying to build up a good atmosphere. you'd need a bit of an attention span but it's really good for anime standards, you could often find it on lists about disturbing anime series because it's prolific in that regard. 8.5-9/10 anime, the movie is MID ASF tho.
Blood C doesn't attempt to scare you through the typical conventional ways, it's more analogous to the type of trauma that a kid that has seen war would get in comparison to Freddy Fazbear.

Death - Pierce Me is good, the vocals are intentionally weird and deranged but that's just part an integral part of the insanity. i wouldn't suggest anyone to listen to these if they're in a very emotionally vulnerable state for obvious reasons. if it isn't clear to you, read the beginning phrase on this newline terminated string (line) again.
Another good DSBM project is the one manned
Leviathan by Wrest. he's most well known for
The Tenth Sub Level Of Suicide but
Scar Sighted (idk if this album counts as DSBM. it's a lot more Avant-Garde) is also good, specifically around the end but the rest of it also solid.

if you find it disturbing, certain bands like "Grand Belials Key" (international i think?) and "Reek of the Unzen Gas Fumes" (Japan) adhere to ideologies adjacent to National Socialism. <Sun O))) and Endless Dismal Moan focus mostly on atmospheric stuff but they do have BM in there.
