Nearly everything that turns even slightly popular will get the most awful obnoxious troons flocking to it. Online communities will always be more troonish than the average group of people because most other people cannot be bothered to talk to strangers online about one specific thing all the time instead of just doing said thing. Even chuddy activities get this. The only thing we can really do is ignore it.
