I think it's because Kripke got a clitty leak when right-wing people started liking the show, so he made a season in which he focuses solely on fucking up the writing and plotline for the sake of parodying the american right- season 4 of course.

I watched Season 1 and frankly it was still pretty bad with the politics. I say this as someone who enjoys TADC and Deltarune those arent nearly as politically obsessed than even the first season of The Goys.
