That one character, and sometimes the rest of his species. I get that. He's annoying and the species is too cartoonish in general. But when you look at the bigger picture it's fine. It's a grand space opera, which means the whole is more important then the individual parts, and Lucas actually did an excellent job with that. He even quietly admitted his Episode I mistakes by giving Jar Jar and his species very little screen time in Episodes II and III. It really is just young Gen X and old Millennial hate for the sake of hate because they have no personality. Episode III is still one of the best action movies ever made, btw.
