It kinda makes me miss /asp/ bros. I miss having random non-wrestling threads on the board. And the unlikely alliance with the skatebros. Tony Hawk posters getting 92 digits and calling Nash raped and skateboarding off. The zorb threads. Made it feel like a real territory of feds

4chan = 2016-2019 WWE. Fucking soul grindingly bad a lot of the time but the kino parts are literally the absolute zenith of kino.
Sharty = 2019 - 2020 Coof AEW. Consistently fun but sloppy, the highs are not as high and just doesn’t draw as much dimes.
The fact of the matter is this place is going to lose all its traffic when the chan comes up and it’s because 4chan is ran better even if it’s at the expense of the wild west feel that is fun about Sharty.

Here's my half a dime.
Pros:
- This board is much better for posting: there is no captcha; there are builtin 4chanX tier filters; you can post videos with sound; you can post multiple videos/images; etc.
- The mods aren't biased, they don't seem like the kind of people to make a sticky for a dead pig but not do it for someone beloved by the fans.
- India is range banned.
Cons:
- The board is slow, the UI isn't prepared for long threads and it's a pain to navigate the catalog.
- User moderation is non-existent, it's better than the jannies on /pw/ because they were biased there but that's a very low bar to begin with. This means that threads are constantly derailed and the board has been slowly degenerating into an eco chamber because there's not enough traffic to drown out the schizos.
- Related to the point above, the absolute worst kind of schizos have migrated here and are raisinting up the board 24/7 like they did on /pw/. I miss the dimes ones like bootleghausen but they're mostly nowhere to be seen.
- Avatar and waifu fagging is rampant, but props again for the filtering system.
- Threads with flags AND ID's prevent a lot of the samefagging issues that /pw/ had, but threads with flags AND NO ID's means you can still samefag, but you have to be in countries where the majority of the posters are from or simply use a VPN.

The first few days were peak comfy but now the pros just don't really outweigh the cons for me, I was barely using /pw/ as it was but at least I could still lurk the catalog and stay up to date on wrestling related news, even if it was whatever funny botch happened the previous night.

most of the WWE fans will go back because they don't care about quality. They just want to feel like they're a part of the "number one thing." Even if the number one thing is hot garbage, they still love it.

Many such cases, sadly.

Take a closer look at low-quality rasslin threads and you'll see that it's mostly WWE shill threads.

If 4chan had a pile of postings daily and everyone from there came here, theoretically soyjak should have piles of postings, but it doesn't – which indicates that either everyone's given up, nobody's found this site, or THEY WERE ALL BOT POSTS

I think a lot of people have found their way here but not everyone.
As of your comment, there have been 52580 comments on this board. Last week, when we first came here, there were around 4000.
I wouldn't underestimate how active we've been.

shut up faggot, nobody cares about your autistic obsession with flags. In fact, most of the board seems to think you're a massive faggot.

it's true, trying to discuss non-WWE wrestling on the old /pw/ was nearly impossible. Piggies would just spam your thread with obnoxiousness and derail things, even going so far as to impersonate you to try and turn people against you. And, if that didn't work, they'd just slide you to the bottom with 100 bullraisin threads about NXT while abusing the report system to eventually get the thread removed.

In FlagFag's defense, flags can give some context to a post, so an intelligent poster can understand the background and potential depth of knowedge of the poster a bit better, but an unintelligent poster (a member of the bottom 99% of posters) only needs flags so he can
* tell Canadian people that they're gay
* tell Finns that they're actually asians
* dismiss Africans for being black without even reading the post
* tell Americans that they're fat
* tell Brits they have bad teeth
so yeah, flags are not REALLY necessary

I honestly don't care if we have flags or not, I'm fine with it either way. It makes me suspicious to see some people making a big deal out of them. It suggests that they have some ulterior motive.

I agree, it's suspicious. If we all acted like adults it would be fine but that's not going to happen. Personally I think the less information we give the trolls and the feds the better.

honestly you do have a good point there. Anything that brings greater anonymity is probably the safer bet.

This. He wanted anons to post their Flags/IDs so fucking bad that he spammed his bullraisin and anons just said "fuck it" and went back to 4chan.

Way to go, dude!
